How to Use Softaculous on cPanel Print

Step 1: Log In to cPanel

Log in using your cPanel username and password.


Step 2: Open Softaculous

Step 3: Install an Application (Example: WordPress)

    • Protocol: https://

    • Domain: select your domain

    • Directory: leave empty for main domain

    • Admin Username & Password

    • Admin Email

  4. Click Install

Step 4: Manage Installed Applications

  • Login to admin panel

Step 5: Backup & Restore Using Softaculous

Create a Backup

  1. Open All Installations

  2. Click Backup

  3. Wait for completion

Restore a Backup

  1. Click Restore

  2. Select a backup

  3. Confirm restore


Step 6: Clone a Website

Cloning is useful for testing or staging.

  1. Click Clone

  2. Choose destination domain or folder

  3. Click Clone Installation
